Hello Doctor is a medical doctor in your pocket
When you have used your first three GP visits for the year and you are ill and need to see a network GP again you must first contact Hello Doctor for authorisation. You can do this via the Momentum App or request a call back by dialing *120*394*120# from any cell phone number.
Getting started
To get started download the Momentum App from the Play Store for Android phones. The App gallery for Huawei phones or the Apple App Store for iPhones.
Once you've logged in, select Health4Me then GP visits and then request GP authorisation.
Select the member that you want to unlock a visit for and then click on unlock GP visits. On the next screen include the members details and select either a phone call or a video call. Provide consent to engage on the Tele Health platform and then click on Submit to request a doctor to contact you.
You will receive a notification to confirm that your request has been submitted.
Hello Doctor will call to see whether they can help you over the phone or if they are unable to help you over the phone they will unlock a visit for you to have a face-to-face consultation with a network GP.
If the Hello Doctor GP authorises your visit you'll receive an SMS with your authorisation number. You can also view the authorisation number on the Momentum App by selecting GP visits and then GP visit authorisation and claims history and then choosing the member you want to view the authorisation for.
Remember to take your authorisation number with you when you visit your network GP. The authorisation is valid for three days so make sure you see a network GP as soon as possible.
A Hello Doctor GP may also prescribe medication for you from a list of approved medicines called a formulary. If a Hello Doctor GP has prescribed medication for you as part of your consultation, you'll be able to collect your prescribed medicines from your nearest Dis-Chem, Clicks or MediRite pharmacy of your choice.
