It’ll give you the option to do your digital health and fitness assessment provided you don’t have any existing valid health or fitness assessment results. If your Healthy Heart Score or fitness level is still valid, only the one that has expired will be calculated from the scan. If you have a valid in-person health and fitness assessment result, the digital assessments will not be available
The duration of the assessment is about 12 minutes, and this includes both the digital health and fitness assessment.
Once you start the assessment, you’ll be asked to do a 90 second facial scan. You’ll then be asked to do a 5-minute stepping exercise to elevate your heart rate. After this, you’ll do another 90 second facial scan. The data from this scan will be used for your assessment results, which will give you a Healthy Heart Score and a fitness level.
If you follow the instructions of the assessment and all the necessary conditions are met, then you’ll get your Healthy Heart Score and fitness level. Examples of optimal conditions include stable network connectivity, the correct lighting, distance from phone camera, etc. The app will tell you if the conditions aren’t optimal, so that you do the assessment correctly and get the relevant results. In case we cannot calculate your fitness level, you’ll receive a fitness level estimate, which is valid for 3 months only.
In case you only do the first facial scan, you’ll get your Healthy Heart Score and a fitness level estimate only.
